It is very nice to go beyond the momentary dynamics of waves and consider tidal (diurnal) movement which is directly related with ongoing programs. Some of us are of the opinion that sub-terrain structures are nice but raised platforms/planes can become visual barrier in an otherwise open space like the beach which offers unobstructed views till horizon. None the less, very much like your diagrams that seem to have a lot of potential.
